Today's brands are tactile, experiential, social and digital, and reach audiences across all touchpoints. They work hard to connect, evoke, share, and sometimes just remind, wherever and however they want their audience to find them. Being nimble is critical, and brand agility relies on thoughtful, strategic design. As you'll see from many of LKD's project descriptions, Linda specializes in strategic visual systems-- design not bound by medium-- which means the thinking phase equals the design phase. For clients, that means that in an ever-changing landscape, they can flex and adjust as they need to.

Despite shrinking budgets and internal resources, client performance remains binding. That's considerable pressure to get it right. Some say, "pressure makes diamonds", but that requires having the right materials in place. Linda brings a seasoned viewpoint and a portfolio of skills derived from diverse work, informed by decades of working in-house, as outside agency, production arm, digital entrepreneur, philanthropic supporter and event planner. She has worked creatively on projects in the U.S. and around the globe. Linda has led large scale projects in television + film branding, video + film production, rock n' roll, live immersive events, digital content creation, hospitality and philanthropy. Nimbleness not only helps fuel innovation, it creates efficiencies for clients.
Linda Kane was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She holds a BFA, Graphic Design, from Rhode Island School of Design and also completed course work with Wolfgang Weingart and Armin Hofmann at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Basel, Switzerland.
Distinguished by Promax / BDA as one of the 15 Most Influential Designers, Linda is an Emmy® award-winning design director and brand strategist. She began her creative career with two NBC affiliates, WBZ and KWQC, then advanced to Art Director and Design Director for CBS and Warner Bros. During both tenures, CBS Sports invited Linda to join their teams on the ground at three Winter Olympic Games, including as the network's Graphics Supervisor in Japan. In all, Linda has managed creative teams and led projects globally in China, Norway, France, Japan, Monaco, Mexico and Canada.
While at Warner Bros., Linda was responsible for daily graphic production on the syndicated show Extra, and packaging for programs in development (graphics, set design, lighting, and promotions) in LA and NY. She also enjoyed producing awards packaging for the entertainment magazine's coverage of the Academy Awards®, Golden Globes®, People's Choice® and Primetime Emmys®.
Linda has always been passionate about the diversity of her work on projects large and small, and continues to be inspired by collaborations with clients and contributors, while always aiming to exceed client and audience expectations.

Working with cinematographer Dave Insley in San Francisco for KRON's rebrand
